Preparation of business plans

Scope of the Offer

The offer includes the preparation of business plans for the purpose of obtaining commercial financing (e.g., banks, leasing companies). We specialize in preparing business plans together with financial forecasts and profitability assessments.

It is possible to prepare the document in English.

We do not prepare business plans or applications for national or EU subsidies, grant programs, or any other forms of public support.

Business Plan Preparation Process

The process of preparing a business plan is based on close cooperation with the client to ensure the final document is highly credible and has a realistic implementation potential. During the preparation, access to a range of financial data and various company documents is required. Example documents used in this process include:

  • Description of the investment project: investment scope, expected outcomes, physical and financial schedule;
  • Market capacity analysis, competition analysis;
  • Product description;
  • Annual budget;
  • Quantitative reports on historical sales by product categories;
  • Loan / credit / lease agreements with repayment schedules;
  • Full trial balances with detailed entries from cost accounts (class 4 or class 5 accounts);
  • Full trial balances with detailed entries from revenue accounts (class 7 accounts);
  • Long-term cooperation agreements;
  • Annual depreciation plans;
  • Sales plans;
  • Payroll information (e.g., payroll gross-gross, that is total employment cost);
  • Planned sales price levels by product categories;
  • Grant agreements with payment schedules;
  • Dividend policy / profit distribution method;
  • Information about key management personnel.

The above list is for reference only and is always individually adjusted depending on the specific characteristics of a given enterprise. For example, not every company has a lease agreement or a grant agreement.

Purpose of the Business Plan

A business plan is typically prepared in connection with the search for interest-bearing financing and serves as a standard attachment to an investment loan application. This document is also often required by industry or financial investors planning to acquire a stake in the company and serves as a basis for assessing the attractiveness of the potential investment. A business plan is sometimes also used as a foundation for creating an investment teaser.

Document Standard

A typical business plan in our standard includes the following elements:

  • Company description;
  • Description of key management and their experience;
  • Investment project description;
  • Market and competition analysis;
  • Financial forecast: assumptions, pro forma balance sheet, pro forma profit and loss statement, pro forma cash flow statement;
  • Project profitability assessment (NPV and IRR);
  • Project sensitivity analysis – typically in two scenarios:
    • (1) -5% from planned sales prices;
    • (2) -10% from planned sales prices.

Modifications to this structure are possible to reflect the specifics of the enterprise.

Geographical Scope of Services

We provide services throughout Poland. For clients located outside the Lublin region, meetings are conducted online (via MS Teams), and documents are exchanged electronically.
